Neurotransmitters Biochemistry - Synthesis and structures of Epinephrine, Norepinephrine, Dopamine, Acetylcholine, Histamine and Serotonin

Neurotransmitters are referred to as the body's chemical messengers. They are the molecules used by the nervous system to transmit messages between neurons, or from neurons to muscles.

The video below gives a detailed teaching on Neurotransmitters

Amino acids : Definition, structure, classification with mnemonics

All proteins are polymers of amino acids. Proteins are  composed of a number of amino acids linked by peptide bonds.

Although about 300 amino acids occur in nature, only

20 of them are seen in human body. Most of the amino acids (except proline) are alpha amino acids, which means that  the amino group is attached to the same carbon atom to which  carboxyl group is attached

Surds made easy and simplified

 Introduction to Surds

It has been a topic that most students find difficulty in, especially the aspect of rationalization. So I decided to make a complete series on Surds. So subscribe to my youtube channel and blog so as not to miss out.

Key points on Electricity and Magnetism

ELECTRICITY AND MAGNETISM

Hello guys I'm Swift (Science Lair)  it has been long since I posted anything, but today i would be taking you through the aspects of electricity and magnetism
Lets start with the definition of an electric field

Electric Field is a region where a small positive charge experiences a force.

Electric Current is the rate of flow of charge.

EMF (electromotive force) is the work done by a cell when a unit positive charge to move rounds the circuit.

PD (potential difference) is the energy converted from electrical form to non electrical (heat) form when a unit positive charge moves between two points.

Voltage = Current × Resistance = IR
